The P1 uses several different wing ribs, generally split into nose and trailing types.

Rib Additions
The nose ribs were all carbon-foam-carbon sandwiches. The ribs at the drag attach points also had phenolic blocks to allow the drag strut crutch loads to be transfered in shear to the leading edge skin. The root rib was also reinforced.
The trailing edge ribs are cantilever structures spanning between the spar and the trailing edge tube. The are all identical except the root, 2nd, and aileron ribs.
Trailing edge tubes, upper and lower caps, and cable fairleads were added as needed.
